Progressive rockers Circa Survive are headed to Los Angeles for the first time in over a year for a special headlining performance on December 28th at the Shrine Expo Hall. Fans who attend the show can be a part of this experience as the band is planning to film the performance for release later in 2014. CMJ gives praise to Circa Survive as "one of the most beloved alternative rock bands of recent memory," and celebrates vocalist Anthony Green's live performance as "one of the most enigmatic frontmen this side of Henry Rollins."

This show is in support of their latest effort, Violent Waves, which was self-financed, self-produced and self-released in August of 2012. The DIY album earned them the impressive #15 spot its debut week on the Billboard 200. They have sold more than half of a million albums world-wide, performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and recently completed a nationwide tour - Rockstar Uproar Festival- with Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction and Coheed and Cambria. NME says their sounds occupies, "the space between Glassjaw's hardcore pro and the majesty of Explosions In The Sky."
