KASABIAN ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR PLANS

[Comp_01b_BW]UK rock sensation Kasabian are pleased to announce plans for their first North American tour in five years, in conjunction with their new album, Velociraptor! Check out the official announcement here<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcB2st0POB4>. Kicking off on March 12th in Dallas, TX, their nearly 20-city tour will include dates both in the US and Canada. These dates mark the first in a series of announcements that the band plans to make in regards to future live shows in the US during 2012. Tickets for Kasabian's North American spring tour will go on-sale starting today (please see full routing below).
In addition to these spring tour plans, the band has announced the release of the Velociraptor! Super Deluxe Box. Limited to 1000 copies worldwide, the album has been completely and luxuriously re-packaged into an exclusive collection. Each copy has been signed by the band and features a hard-back sketchbook showcasing the lyrics, illustrations and previously unseen photographs, a large poster and 4 metal feathers (physical representations of the artwork design on the singles' covers).
Kasabian's fourth studio album Velociraptor! was released this past September and impressively debuted at #1 in the UK, while simultaneously skyrocketing to the top of charts in countries around the world. Chock full of amplified vocals and stadium sized riffs, the album has received critical praise with Q Magazine calling the release "their best album to date," and Mojo who proclaimed "[Kasabian] have just made a career-best record that's completely devoid of filler...it's the great record Kasabian have been threatening to make for some time."
Since the debut of their new album, Kasabian have been has been on a world tour in support of Velociraptor!. The band are currently in the midst of a 14-city UK arena outing that will wrap up with two shows at London's O2 on December 14th and 15th. Before arriving in the US this spring, Kasabian will also headline arena dates throughout Europe, Japan, Asia and Australia.
