NEW YORK (Dec. 1, 2011) – Nominations for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards (www.grammy.com<http://www.grammy.com/>) were announced last night by the Recording Academy:

Alison Krauss & Union Station’s Paper Airplane received nominations for:
*Best Bluegrass Album
*Best Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical

Maroon 5 received a nomination for:
*Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Moves Like Jagger”)

Maroon 5 has received a GRAMMY Award nomination for “Moves Like Jagger” with Christina Aguilera in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” This marks the 8th GRAMMY nomination for the 3-time GRAMMY award winning band. “Moves Like Jagger” was an instant smash hit, skyrocketing to #1 on the Top 40and Hot AC charts along with claiming the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was re-released on Maroon 5’s critically acclaimed album Hands All Over.

*Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Good Man”)

TV on The Radio received a nomination for:
*Best Long Form Music Video (Nine Types of Light)

[Untitled-3.jpg]Nine Types of Light - Film, the amazing visual component to TV on The Radio’s acclaimed album, has just been nominated for a GRAMMY in the category of “Best Long Form Music Video.” The movie is meant to be an aesthetic re-imagining of the record, and includes a music video for every song on the album. The band personally asked their friends and the filmmakers they admired to help direct the music videos. The vibrant Deschanel-penned song is a brilliant addition to the soundtrack, featuring Zooey’s inimitable vocals and piano playing alongside M.Ward’s impressive guitar work. After releasing three albums as She & Him (including the latest A Very She & Him Christmas), this is the duo’s first GRAMMY recognition.
