Critically-lauded, Los Angeles-based songstress BANKS' anticipated LONDON EP will be released via Harvest Records (U.S)/Good Years Recording (U.K) on September 10th, and features collaborations with producers such as: SOHN, TEED, Jamie Woon, Tim Anderson, and Lil Silva. The music video for lead track "Waiting Game" premiered today on The FADER, where her dark and sultry vocals match the video's shadowy modern-day film noir visuals. The self-taught pianist and singer's forthcoming EP establishes the BANKS sound - a place where sparse clicky beats, wiry basslines, mercurial synths, confessional lyrics, and seductive melodies coalesce. Connecting the dots between ghostly dreamscapes and bleeding hearts, BANKS is well on her way to being one of the most compelling, exciting new voices of the year.
