Innerpartysystem Announces U.S. Summer Shows

 

New remixes for single "Not Getting Any Better" available exclusively on Beatport May 10th 

 

Remix Contest to Launch on IndabaMusic.com May 9th

Innerpartysystem, whose Never Be Content EP (Red Bull Records) hit #1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart earlier this year, have announced U.S. summer shows. This run of live dates will include LIVE 105 BFD on June 5th, select shows with electronic musician/producer Skrillex and the Global Dance Festival on July 14th. Innerpartysystem is currently gearing up to hit the road for dates overseas throughout May before returning to the States to add even more heat to these summer shows. One of the most exciting live bands in the electronic world, Innerpartysystem hand-manipulates loops and effects live on stage with such technical and improvisational prowess that each show is bound to be a mind-blowing pinnacle of electronic bliss. With live drums, live mixing and a mesmerizing light show, it's a full-on dance party that you won't want to miss. 

 

New single and electro gem "Not Getting Any Better," just added to Sirius BPM, has everything you could ever ask for in an electronic song - epic beats, a melody you can't shake and a totally entrancing groove. Five genius remixes of the song from Sander Kleinenberg, Sidney Samson, Dave Audé, Treasure Fingers and Designer Drugs will be available exclusively on Beatport on May 10th and will then be available across all digital stores on July 5th. The video for "Not Getting Any Better," directed by Christopher Mills (Interpol, Metric) will debut at the end of May.  The ambitious, 8.5 minute animated short film follows the trippy adventures of a trolley car driver in his attempt to escape the mundane life he leads.

 

In addition to these remixes, Innerpartysystem will also launch a remix contest for "Not Getting Any Better" on May 9th  with IndabaMusic.com. The winner's remix will be released by Red Bull Records as an official remix and will receive a prize of $1,000. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third place and honorable mentions will receive memberships to Indaba Music. Innerpartysystem - Patrick Nissley (vocals), Jared Piccone (drums), and Kris Barman (synth, guitar) - has been moving full throttle ahead this year, inciting a dance frenzy at SXSW, touring the U.S. with acclaimed Australian band Pendulum and selling out shows at the landmark club Madame JoJo's and Corsica Studios in London.  The video for "American Trash," their first single from Never Be Content, is currently in rotation at MTVu and MTV2 Subterranean, while EP track "Money Makes The World Go Round" was featured on CBS' Blue Bloods.
