North of Nine is the brainchild of 18-year-old singer/songwriter, frontman and keyboardist, Jackson Guthy, and is rounded out by drummer Rob Ketchum, guitarist Michael O'Grady, bassist Edison Lo, and keyboardist Nolan Frank. Over the past three years, Guthy achieved quick success as a solo artist, landing performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show twice, sharing the stage with the likes of One Direction, Five Seconds of Summer, Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony and finding a true believer in manager and executive producer Randy Jackson. Now Guthy is the creative engine behind his new band North of Nine. The band name came from one of his favorite inspirational phrases "follow your true north" and the fact that all nine planets were aligned the year he was born. It's safe to say that a lot more will be aligning for this promising young band in 2015.
