[4 LR]January 16, 2014 -- DJ Cassidy will release his groundbreaking debut album Paradise Royale this spring on Columbia Records. To evoke what he calls the "golden era of dance music," Cassidy reunited twenty-two of the most legendary musicians of the late 1970s and early 1980s for the first time in over thirty years to channel the sound of their prolific era using no covers, no samples, and no interpolations. Cassidy then recruited twelve of the most revered and diverse recording artists from his own era to write and record original songs. The astounding list of artists includes Robin Thicke, Jessie J, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Passion Pit, Cee Lo Green, John Legend, Estelle, Chromeo, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland, and Usher. The iconic list of musicians includes Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Larry Dunn of Earth, Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers of Chic, John "JR" Robinson of Rufus, Kool & The Gang, Patrice Rushen, Wah Wah Watson, Marcus Miller, Jerry Hey, Ndugu Chancler, and Ray Parker Jr. The result is an epic opus of celebration whose inescapable rhythm and explosive spirit moves everybody within its reach.

DJ Cassidy has always strived to be undefined, a deejay sought after to play all music, for all people, all over the world. After rocking renowned parties for nearly two-thirds of his life, the artist is thrilled to be releasing his first album this spring. "Producing this album, I set out on a mission to bring the greatest and most universal dance music of all time back to the airwaves, back to nightlife, back to the dance floor," says Cassidy.
The album's lead single, "Calling All Hearts," features vocals from global superstars Robin Thicke & Jessie J. The track exploded on dance floors during the holiday season and is already gaining significant traction on airwaves across the United States.

Cassidy premiered "Calling All Hearts" for fans this past summer while supporting Jay Z and Justin Timberlake on their Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour and live on MTV while acting as the deejay for the 2013 Video Music Awards. In February, Cassidy will hit the road with his band as he opens for Robin Thicke on a nationwide tour.
