The So So Glos: Punk rock from Brooklyn NY, recognized for their active participation in the all-ages music venues of NYC and the DIY movement in general. The band consists of Alex Levine (vocals, bass), Ryan Levine (guitar, vocals), Matt Elkin (guitar, vocals) and Zach Staggers (drums, vocals). Brothers Alex and Ryan Levine are originally from Bay Ridge , Brooklyn, as well as Zach Staggers whom Ryan met in pre-school. Through divorces and remarriages, Zach became their step-brother and they began playing music at a very early age. Over the course of their childhood, the three brothers moved around the New York metropolitan area quite frequently, and now actually live in Shea Stadium - all-ages punk dive they co-founded. Produced by longtime friend and Shea Stadium owner/collaborator Adam Reich and engineer/producer Kyle "Slick" Johnson, Blowout will be put out on the band's own label SSG Entertainment with Reich's newly launched Shea Stadium Records. Apart from Blowout, Shea Stadium Records will primarily serve as a live recordings compilation label from archived shows at the venue.
