Indie-Americana five-piece, Wheeler Brothers, have been touring non-stop since the release of their debut album Portraits. Now, they will be taking the stage at this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival October 12-14 as well as playing select dates supporting The Avett Brothers over the summer! Wheeler Brothers will be stopping in Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland as they make their way across the country. Additionally, they will be playing KGSR's prestigious Blues on the Green with Rhett Miller on June 13, Milwaukee Summerfest supporting The Avett Brothers on June 5, and a two-day residency at the Lustre Pearl back home in Austin in August. Wheeler Brothers have had a whirlwind of a year. After seeing the release of their debut album Portraits (Bismeaux Records), taking home 5 Austin Music Awards (including BEST NEW BAND and BEST ROOTS ROCK BAND), and snagging their national television debut on Last Call with Carson Daly (check it out HERE<http://www.nbc.com/last-call-with-carson-daly/video/wheeler-brothers/1393482>), the Brothers are making some very exciting noise around their release.

Formed in Austin, TX, the Wheeler Brothers are made up of brothers Nolan (guitar/piano/vocals), Tyler (bass) and Patrick Wheeler (drums) along with Danny Matthews (guitar/vocals), and A.J. Molyneaux (lap steel/guitar/vocals). Their debut album, Portraits, features sing along, guitar driven jams with clear, crisp vocals and plenty of down-home Southern twang. They have quickly emerged as one of Austin's most exciting up-and-coming bands whose style is described as "ball-of-fire Americana" by the Austin Chronicle.
