Blondie Announces East Coast Tour Dates This Fall

"Whip It To Shreds" Co-Headlining Tour with Devo Kicks off September 7th

August 14, 2012 - New York, NY - Blondie has announced a run of select East Coast live shows this Fall, which will immediately follow the band's "Whip It To Shreds" co-headlining tour with Devo kicking off September 7th. The newly added "An Evening with Blondie" dates run from September 28th to October 7th with a special bill of Blondie and Cheap Trick on September 30th. Tickets for all dates are on sale now, with the exception of the October 7th show which goes on sale Friday August 17th. The full list of tour dates is below.



Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein, along with newer Blondie band members Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen, will be playing the incredible songs from their 9th critically acclaimed album Panic of Girls, as well as the biggest hits from their storied four-decade career. Earlier this year, Blondie received rave reviews during their sold-out North American tour and made two very special national TV performances on the TODAY Show<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiADxzCgHgs> and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to perform single "Mother. " Panic of Girls is colored with inspirations from New York City's roiling melting pot and street-level pop culture, featuring new wave dance gems, songs sung in French and Spanish and a reggae cover are threaded together with a timeless pop sheen.  Blondie was inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
