[CC_general1_Deena Cavallo LR]Chris Cornell will be performing his stunning song “The Keeper” on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday, December 16th. The poignant original song was written for the feature film Machine Gun Preacher (directed byMarc Forster) which stars Gerard Butler and is based on the true story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing criminal who finds faith leading him on a path to help the children of East Africa. The song is also included in Cornell’s recent release, Songbook; his first ever live, acoustic release which explores his entire songwriting catalogue featuring material written for Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog and his solo work, and was released due to strong fan demand.
