America's Best Unsigned Band To Play CMJ on October 15th

The best new band in America hails from Camden County, Georgia and they're about to make their NYC debut at CMJ.  The Silver Palms are heading north to perform at Chez Andrew at The Standard on Tuesday, October 15th at 8:30pm.

The band, who are all childhood friends still only 19 and 20 years old, named themselves after The Silver Palm, a luxury train that used to pass through their hometown near Savannah on the now disused old Southern Railway track. Influenced as much by Johnny Cash as they are by Oasis, The Silver Palms will be bringing their dazzling Southern charms to Manhattan next week. It's gonna be one of those "I saw them when..." shows.
