Shawn Colvin will preview tracks from her highly anticipated eighth studio album, All Fall Down<http://www.nonesuch.com/albums/all-fall-down>, at New York City’s City Winery on June 4th, one day prior to the album’s release on Nonesuch Records. The show will be broadcast live on New York’s WFUV 90.7FM. Fans outside of the New York metro area can enjoy the show at WFUV.org<http://www.wfuv.org/>.

All Fall Down is Colvin’s first album to be produced by her longtime friend and cohort Buddy Miller (Robert Plant, Solomon Burke). Recorded in Nashville, with a group of stellar musicians, this is Colvin’s first album of new material in six years. The release of All Fall Down comes on the same date as William Morrow/HarperCollins publishes her memoir, Diamond In The Rough, which insightfully and candidly looks back over a rich lifetime of highs and lows. The wit, lyricism, and empathy found in the book are traits that have long characterized Colvin’s songwriting and her live performances.
A consummate, natural and engaging performer, Colvin has announced dates for her All Fall Down tour in support of the album release. Fans can expect to hear much loved favorites as well as songs from the new album.
