SHAWN COLVIN* Monday June 4th @ City Winery - 8pm
On Monday, Shawn Colvin will be performing a special record release show for her new album, All Fall Down.  This is Colvin's first album of new material in six years and it comes on the same day that she publishes her memoir Diamond In The Rough, which candidly looks over a rich lifetime of highs and lows.  Recorded in Nashville with legendary Buddy Miller as producer, the album features a group of stellar musicians including - Emmylou Harris, Bill Frissel, Jakob Dylan, and Alison Krauss. Colvin describes All Fall Down as “an album about loss, but also about redemption and resolution.” This show is presented by WFUV.
Shawn Colvin will also be signing copies and discussing her memoir at Barnes and Nobel Tribeca on Tuesday June 5th at 6pm.
