21 year old singer/songwriter Lelia Broussard writes songs about sad robots and her orthodontist. She calls out hipster bitches and sings about shooting for the moon. Laced up in rosy cheeked indie pop, Lelia brings her gorgeous full length release Masquerade to LA's famed Hotel Café on May 17th. The winner of the contest will grace the cover of the August issue of Rolling Stone and perform on the main stage at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.

 

Adamant about pursuing her passion for music, she has created a successful independent career for herself using her ingenuity and the mediums available to her. Broussard raised over $15,000 to record Masquerade on Kickstarter.com, her campaign was one of the most successful music projects on the popular indie fundraising site at that time.
