Robert and Clara Schumann in words and music

Los Angeles, CA February 7, 2011 Allan Buchman and Culture Project are
excited to announce the addition of Emmy Award winning actor John Lithgow
and Grammy Award winning violinist Joshua Bell to the ensemble of the West
Coast debut of Twin Spirits, Tuesday, February 15th at the Mark Taper Forum
at the Music Center of Los Angeles County. Lithgow will narrate the evening,
which stars Sting and Trudie Styler reprising their roles as classical
composer Robert and his wife, pianist Clara Schumann; reading the couple's
poignant letters with accompaniment from a six-member ensemble of classical
musicians. A portion of the evening¹s proceeds will be used to support the
ongoing work of Culture Project, the Royal Opera House and Mustardseed Arts
Trust.

Called ³strikingly beautiful² by The New York Times, Twin Spirits was first
performed in 2005 and was recorded before a small audience at London's Royal
Opera House in 2007, which was released on the Opus Arte label in 2009.
Since then, performances have been held at Windsor Castle, Salisbury
Cathedral, and Cortona¹s Tuscan Sun Festival. Culture Project produced the
most recent U.S. performance of Twin Spirits at Jazz at Lincoln Center in
New York on June 30, 2010.
