Today, Grammy nominated British quintet Hot Chip are releasing their universally acclaimed fifth album, In Our Heads, on Domino. Since their 2004 debut the collective talents of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, Alexis Taylor, Felix Martin, Al Doyle and Owen Clarke have provided a consistently stellar output which continues to evolve with a deceptive effortlessness. While their influences includes a diverse mix of soul, R&B, gospel, Detroit House, disco and funk, Hot Chip have created a uniquely identifiable sound and cement their position as the world’s most talented electro-romantics. The band will be kicking off a string of North American dates next month - including a performance at Prospect Park's Celebrate Brooklyn - and will return in September for a west coast jag which sees them headlining the Hollywood Bowl.  The band have just announced TWO additional N. American shows to those runs. By popular demand they've added another NYC show - on Friday July 20th @ Terminal 5 - and an additional Vancouver show on Sunday September 16th @ the Commodore Ballroom.
