Says band leader Ian Parton: "I wrote the song just on an acoustic but when it came to the recording I had the idea of building it from chords from loads of different sources, so say the G chord was a second sample from one song, the D chord from totally different kind of song and it went on - the process of layering all these turned it into a wall of sound. Combined with vocals from Sudden Ensemble and Vinyl Tiger's singer Doreen Kirchner it became this kinda bratty, super melodic thing."

The Go! Team has also announced the first - and so far the ONLY - show of the year at Village Underground in London on June 17th. Ian, Sam and Ninja from the classic Go! The Go! Team recently announced The Scene Between, the band's first release in 4+ years, which will be out on March 24th via Memphis Industries. The Scene Between sees Ian Parton going back to The Go! Team's roots; he wrote, performed, and produced the entire album himself, with the help of singers from across the world whom Parton had never met or heard of previously. With this heavy focus on melody and varied production, where samples were treated as instruments rather than the basis for the songs themselves, The Scene Between is one of the finest albums in The Go! Team catalogue yet.
