English duo Drenge recently confirmed their debut US single release for the A side “Bloodsports”/  B side “Dogmeat” on Canvasback Music’s Canvasclub singles label on January 14 .  Watch<http://www.canalplus.fr/c-divertissement/c-musique/pid5043-album-de-la-semaine.html?vid=960385> a recent performance of “Bloodsports” from French TV’s Canal Plus. “Bloodsports” was included in BBC DJ Zane Lowe's "Hottest Records of 2013" and was touted in year-end lists from NME, The Fly and Les Inrocks.

Brothers Eoin (Guitar and vocals) and Rory Loveless (Drums) have become one of the UK’s most buzzed about new acts following a summer of impressive festival appearances, including Bestival, Glastonbury, and Reading & Leeds, support slots at Hyde Park with the Rolling Stones and at iTunes Festival with Arctic Monkeys, and a coveted performance on veritable BBC show Later….with Jools Holland.

Drenge will bring their blistering rock n roll to several US cities next year including New York City on January 17th and 18th and in Los Angeles on January 25th.  The band will also make their SXSW debut in March 2014.  Drenge have a full length album ready for release. Watch this space for details.

Drenge (Danish for “boys”) hail from Castleton, near Sheffield in the North of England. The Loveless brothers have an uncanny ability to tap into the insouciance, confusion and chaos of today’s generation while at the same time translating it into a vicious serotonin rush.  Even though the brothers are barely in their 20s, they have accumulated enough confidence, vim and vigour in their music to sweep any discerning listener off their feet.
