“It's a lovely, intoxicating record, but the group's sound has also evolved.” – NPR
“That album, like the gorgeous new comeback effort Seasons of Your Day, floated Roback's dusty slide guitar and Sandoval's snowflake vocals over softly swaying rhythms and strummed acoustic six-strings, a seductive respite from much of the era's distorted alt-rock flailing — and a successful one.” - Spin
“Certainly well worth the wait, the album instantly connects with their early material as if no time has passed at all, largely due to Sandoval's unique drawl which hasn't aged a day.” – Under The Radar
“Hope Sandoval and David Roback deliver beautiful, welcome consistency, making true West Coast music in a place where time moves at a different pace…It's the aural equivalent of sweet syrup - slow, molassess-y and utterly satisfying." - Filter
