Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Johnathan Rice is releasing his new LP Good Graces on SQE Music on September 17th 2013. Rice is about to take to the road in support of the new album, his first since the critically lauded  I’m Having Fun Now with Jenny Lewis as Jenny & Johnny in 2010, and has added more live shows to his schedule which kicks off with a very special show at Largo at the Coronet on Wednesday September 11th. The show will include some very special guests as well as support from LA’s The Living Sisters.

In addition to forthcoming live dates with Dawes and Kurt Vile and the Violators, Johnathan Rice has announced a series of co-headlining dates with Nashville’s The Apache Relay this Fall.  Since the release of their album American Nomad in 2011, The Apache Relay have continued their regimen of non-stop touring, performing over 100 dates a year including coveted spots opening for Grammy award-winning Mumford & Sons, a breakout performance at Bonnaroo Music Festival, performances at SXSW, Canadian Music Fest, and Newport Folk Festival.  In early 2013, The Apache Relay headed west to Los Angeles to begin work on their new album. The band recorded at Fairfax Studios, formally known as the legendary Sound City Studios in Van Nuys. The new record will be released in the spring of 2014.
