Rising alt-rock songstress BONZIE will embark on her first major city tour for select dates with folk duo Ivan & Alyosha starting on November 15th at Radio Radio in Indianapolis, IN. The tour run will also take the multi-instrumentalist and her talented five-piece band to St. Louis, Chicago, Madison, WI and more. Bonzie brings a lot of her deep personality to the stage with complex psychedelic arrangements, but her distinctive voice also captures intimate moments of clarity with introspective lyrics and stunning melodies.
Bonzie, who SPIN claims her sound "evokes a young Chan Marshall(Cat Power)," will also give her debut performance at the 2014 Tomorrow Never Knows Festival happening in Chicago. Bonzie will grace the stage at Lincoln Hall for the special festival performance on January 15, 2014. Tomorrow Never Knows Festival will also feature such acts as Yuck, Kopecky Family Band, Cayucas, and more to be announced!  See all performance dates listed below.
Just last month Bonzie, the unsigned artist, was picked up by agent and Founder Tom Windish of Windish Agency. Soon after signing with Windish, BONZIE gave few powerful debut performances at CMJ 2013. Her buzzed about arrival to CMJ had Brooklyn Vegan saying, "The artist we're most excited to see here is BONZIE, who's a young Chicagoan with some pretty strong folk songs...She's also got a great voice and is clearly determined to be a memorable performer as well."
