Los Angeles, CA-May 22, 2012...Today Chester French release their new single, "Interesting Times," in anticipation of their upcoming full-length Music 4 TNGERS coming this June. "With its hazy electronica and floating vocals, they've created a sonically captivating background to the song's dominant ruminations of life and loss," states Pure Volume.

The duo, comprised of singer and songwriter D.A. Wallach and multi-instrumentalist and composer Max Drummey, bring together classic songwriting and pop hooks with adventurous, experimental arrangements. Chester French has drawn comparisons with everyone from Weezer to The Gorillaz, though their 2009 debut Love The Future  was written, engineered, and produced by the duo for less than $2,000.

In addition to Love the Future, Chester French also released a free, full-length concept album entitled Jacques Jams Vol. 1: Endurance. The album featured collaborations with Jermaine Dupri, Diddy, Pharrell, Talib Kweli, Bun B, Janelle Monae, and many others. Over 400,000 fans have since downloaded Jacques Jams and publications ranging from VIBE to the New York Times have praised the project's creativity.

To record their upcoming album, the duo moved back to D.A.'s hometown in Wisconsin and began working on their forthcoming album, which approaches their typically melodic pop songwriting from a more visceral, electronic and emotionally unvarnished perspective. Entirely self-written and self-produced over two winters in a small village recording studio, the album is a sonically dense and lyrically direct window into the minds of two unconventional artists coming to terms with materialism, race, love, and other existentially vexing matters.

Over Max's lush and obliquely-beautiful arrangements, D.A. delivers concise, honest lyrics that capture the moment of their creation and cement a collection of ten songs that will fulfill the high expectations of Chester French's diverse and dedicated fans.

 Max Drummey: Originally from Boston, Drummey is an accomplished producer and film-composer. Classically trained on guitar, he also plays more than fifteen instruments and has toured extensively both in Chester French and with friends like Travis McCoy and Patrick Stump. Max is currently producing for a number of other artists and is looking forward to the release of two award-winning films that he scored in 2011.

D.A. Wallach<http://www.allmusic.com/artist/wallach-p1024527>: A Milwaukee native, D.A. is Chester French's primary lyricist and singer. Beyond the group, he collaborates with Grammy-winning producers Supa Dups and Jack Splash in his side-projects D.A. & The Supa Dups and The Brothers Voodoo, respectively. He is also an in-demand songwriter, frequently working with Rick Ross, Cassie, and other artists. When not creating music, D.A. invests in or advises a number of technology companies, including Spotify, where he is the official Artist In Residence. In 2012, Forbes selected D.A. as one of its 40 Under 40 in Music.
