THE TING TINGS * TONIGHT, Tuesday, March 27th on Last Call with Carson Daly – 1:35 AM
Catch The Ting Tings on Last Call with Carson Daly on NBC TONIGHT, March 27 performing first single “Hang it Up” and album standout “Give it Back”. These songs are off the band’s new release, Sounds From Nowheresville, which came out last week via Columbia. Paying homage to a bevy of influences, from the Beastie Boys, to Fleetwood Mac, to Pet Shop Boys, to tUnE-YarDs, the Ting Tings newest album listens as a mix tape of favorites. The duo are touring in support of the record through March and April – full list of tour dates is below. The Alabama-bred, New York-based sisters and singer/songwriter duo, The Pierces, who released their fourth studio album, You & I on Mercury Recordsyesterday, will be performing their single “You’ll be Mine” TONIGHT on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and this Thursday, March 29th on Good Day New York. Allison and Catherine, who are known for their irresistible, magnetic vocal harmonies, have created an album that is true to their innately cool, singer-songwriter roots, and heralds an exciting new chapter in the Pierces’ story. The album, which was produced by Grammy Award® winners Guy Berryman (Coldplay bassist) and Rik Simpson (Coldplay producer), debuted at #4 on the UK album chart upon its release last year and the song “Drag You Down”,  has already been featured for ABC’s newest hit, Revenge. Brooklyn Based songstress Sydney Wayser will be appearing on Last Call with Carson Daly on Wednesday, March 28th. Sydney and her band met up with Carson’s crew in Austin, TX at SXSW to play a few tunes and talk about her new album, Bell Choir Coast, released digitally TODAY.
