Platinum-selling, GRAMMY nominated British duo The Ting Tings (Jules De Martino and Katie White) are back with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Sounds From Nowheresville (Columbia Records), due out in the US in March. They will be touring in support of their new collection in March and April of this year taking their electrifying shows on the road through LA, Portland, Detroit and NYC along the way. The Ting Tings have rediscovered their sound, called upon new inspirations, and are back with revitalized energy and a fresh perspective with Sounds From Nowheresville.  Paying homage to a bevy of influences, from the Beastie Boys, to Fleetwood Mac, to Pet Shop Boys, to tUnE-YarDs, the Ting Tings newest album listens as a mix tape of favorites. Featuring first single "Hang It Up", chamber pop-synth jam "Silence" and sing-along hooks of "Guggenheim" and "Day to Day", this collection is a natural progression for the acclaimed duo but still remains true to their signature pop sensibility and catchy rhythms. Sounds From Nowheresville is the perfect follow up to 2008's smash success, We Started Nothing featuring hit singles "That's Not My Name" and "Shut Up and Let Me Go".
