Miniature Tigers' Mia Pharaoh encompasses a new dance-pop sound - a musical departure from the band's last two successful records, Tell It to the Volcano and F O R T R E S S.   Regarding Miniature Tigers' sound, the four-piece and The Roots had the pleasure to perform one another's songs for Red Bull's Soundclash. ?ueslove had this to say about the band, "They [Miniature Tigers] have a really ethereal way of translating music, actually, they have a very different approach to our "You Got Me" song that I never thought of in the fifteen years I've been playing it so I told those guys, 'the second we are done with the Soundclash I'm gonna steal all of your arrangements for like all of our songs.'  Never once did I ever think to reinterpret it the way that they reinterpreted it."  The guys performed countless headlining shows, shared numerous stages with such acts as The Walkmen, Neon Indian, Freelance Whales, The Morning Benders, and Tennis, and gave stellar performances at Lollapalooza, RVA Music Festival, Austin City Limits and POPPED! One of 2012's most anticipated albums, Geographer<http://www.geographermusic.com/>'s MYTH explores new sonic elements to the band's already commanding sound.
