Paloma Faith hits Top of The Charts! Again. Hitmaker hitting US but leaving Olympic Torch behind.

London...August 30, 2012...Paloma Faith's Fall To Grace moves UP on the official UK album chart this week, returning to the #2 position. The album originally debuted at the same #2 spot in the UK this past May - would have been #1 if the Queen didn't have a jubilee album! - dropped down to #5, then with a new single and a few more television performances like Graham Norton, Alan Carr, and Jools Holland (again), it went back UP to #2. Who moves up when you are already in the Top 5?

Someone who's got all the critics crazed, that's who. With Mojo raving that "(Faith) sings the bejesus out of these big, open-hearted tunes; warming you with melodramatic hooks and cleverly constructed pop-soul," Q declaring that "(Faith) has evolved into a writer of songs with real emotional weight," and The Times dubbing it an album that "achieves real grandeur," it's no wonder the album hasn't left the top of the charts since its release.

Fall To Grace will be Faith's first US release when it is out November 27th via Epic Records. First single "Picking Up The Pieces," which went top 10 across the pond, is out on iTunes now: http://bit.ly/OWJc8u

Paloma Faith also reveals that she has donated the Olympic torch she ran with last month to charity. Faith had the honor of carrying the Olympic flame through her native Hackney on her birthday last month, a week before the summer games began, causing quite a stir in her choice in running shoes. Faith reveals on Alan Carr's Summertime Spectacular that she was subject to a heckler while on her walk with the flame, telling the audience, "I did it in red stilettos and this woman, she was in the crowd, she went, 'Should have been white shoes'." Faith is also gearing up to start her first ever state-side tour next month, which begins September 10th in Boston.
