Additional Tour Dates Announced

10th Studio Album Haunted By You Out May 22nd

[203_RS_small-lr]Amidst a run of special pre-release live shows, Rachael Sage has premiered new song "Invisible Light" today on PopMatters.com. Hear it here<http://www.popmatters.com/pm/post/157475-rachel-sage-invisible-light-mp3-popmatters-premiere/> and then head over to www.rachaelsage.com<http://www.rachaelsage.com> tomorrow to get the free download of the song. Rachael recently gave us another sneak peek of her 10th studio album, Haunted By You (MPress Records) out May 22nd, with the premiere of new track "Abby Would You Wait" on Huffington Post. That song is also available now for free download on her web site.

Additionally, Rachael has just announced several more live dates. She will open for the legendary Judy Collins during two special Northeast shows May 2nd and 3rd. After an album release show at Joe's Pub in NYC on May 19th, she will hit the road to continue her U.S. tour, hitting cities in June that include Lexington, KY, Evanston, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Raleigh, NC, and Birmingham, AL. Haunted By You is a stunning new collection of guitar and piano-driven songs about the pain and pleasure of passion and soulmates - don't miss your chance to see one of independent music's most celebrated performers bring these new songs to life on stage.

Rachael has had an illustrious career, respected and praised by the likes of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Rolling Stone and Billboard. She has shared the stage with Ani DiFranco, Sarah McLachlan, and Shawn Colvin and has garnered many accolades including the Grand Prize in The John Lennon Songwriting Contest as well as several OUTmusic and Independent Music Awards. This year the independent label that she owns and operates, MPress Records, received its first GRAMMY nod with Seth Glier's "The Next Right Thing" as well as its first Billboard charting record with Melissa Ferrick's "Still Right Here".

Praise for Rachael Sage:
"Genuine talent...where there's poignancy there is also subtlety, unforced passion and knowing observation." - Rolling Stone

"...her keen ironic sense of humor and quirky sense of the profound is what makes her special as a songwriter...Sage is the stitch between the great rock and pop traditions of the past and what those traditions have wrought in the hypermodern world of the present. - Billboard

"...a uniquely rebellious style as quirky as it is passionate - the quintessential East Village Renaissance woman." - Keyboard
