Releases free Violens Remix of "The Body"

New York (NY) September 15th, 2011 - The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are excited to announce Twin Sister will be joining them for a number of dates on their highly anticipated fall tour! Joining the band for the first half of their North American Tour is Big Troubles with Twin Sister taking over for the last half. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will also be making a few festival stops during the tour including Philadelphia's POPPED! Festival on September 23rd, as well as a hometown show in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom on September 19th.
As an "arigatou" to fans and friends made in far flung locales this summer, Pains are releasing a free download the song "The Body" as remixed by the Violens. The track will appear on a very limited edition 12" of remixes from the band's latest LP "Belong", and will include re-imaginings by artists including St. Etienne and Twin Shadow. Release details for the small-pressing vinyl are TBD, but for now enjoy the "The Body" mpFree as you jot Pain's nearest upcoming show in your moleskin.
