Parachute to Perform during The 2011 ESPYs Countdown Show on ESPN July 13th

[Description: 15-19_re_sm]Parachute is slated to perform during The 2011 ESPYs Countdown Show on July 13th. Beginning at 6p.m. ET on the outdoor stage at LA's Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, tune into ESPN/ESPN HD to catch the new music from Parachute's recently released sophomore album The Way It Was (Mercury Records). Featuring the irresistible Top 15 smash hit "Something To Believe In," the album climbed to #1 on the iTunes Rock Albums Chart and debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Following The ESPYs Countdown Show, visit ESPN.com at 8:00pm ET to watch a live stream of a 30-minute set from Parachute. Then be sure to watch The 2011 ESPYs co-presented by Capital One and Castrol EDGE televised live at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN HD.

It's been a whirlwind summer so far for Parachute and they are still gliding high. Just prior to hitting the road in July with the Goo Goo Dolls and Michelle Branch for a 30-city summer tour, Parachute will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday June 29th. The band will play stand-out album track "Kiss Me Slowly" for the first time on national TV. Co-written with Grammy winners Lady Antebellum, the song recently claimed the #1 spot on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart. Parachute will also perform radio hit "Something To Believe In," an uplifting concoction of brassy saxophones and driving guitars.
