June 21, 2011 New York, NY - Jimmy Gnecco, who gained worldwide critical acclaim for his vocals and songwriting style as the dynamic frontman of OURS, has released the second single from his acclaimed self-produced solo debut, The Heart (Bright Antenna / ILG).  "Mystery," which was premiered at tastemaker radio station KCRW, showcases Gnecco's incredible vocal range and graceful delivery - he's been described as possessing a "Robert Plant-meets-Jeff Buckley set of pipes" (Time Out Chicago). The track, a haunting ballad, is set to film by Juno-nominated Canadian director Michael Maxxis, a MuchMusic "Director of the Year" whose elegant camerawork and somber, mesmerizing style is the perfect complement to Gnecco's expressive vocals and graceful delivery. The video perfectly captures the song's mood; it's dark and uplifting at the same time, as are many of Gnecco's songs.

Gnecco and his band are returning to the road this summer, kicking off their tour in Philadelphia on June 24 and continuing through September 2011.  Says Gnecco: "Where possible, we will be setting up in the round. This will give us the ability to be a lot closer to you all and create a much more personal experience.I promise you that this will be a unique experience for us all, and we're really looking forward to it".

The Heart is a graceful and at times almost hymn-like collection of songs as well as a deeply personal album for Gnecco, who plays every instrument heard on the album - guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums and incidental sounds. On tracks such as "Mystery" and "Take A Chance," his undeniable talent as a singer, songwriter, and musician is dazzling.  But it's his exceptional and soulful voice - its color and range - that takes center stage on this hauntingly beautiful album.

Gnecco's perfectly controlled falsetto on "Rest Your Soul" establishes a potent sense of intimacy that he sustains for the duration of this deeply personal album, a sense of intimacy and rapport with the listener that extends to his live performances.
