Summer Tour Kicks off with Nashville Hometown Show July 30th

NEW Album Out August 2nd; First Single "Excuse" Out July 12th Exclusively on the iTunes Store

August 3rd Show at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory to be shown on Livestream

[IMG_0104-lr]Nashville rock trio The Ettes are gearing up for a summer tour behind their fourth album Wicked Will, out August 2nd via Krian Music Group in partnership with the band's own imprint Fond Object. After kicking off on July 30th in the band's hometown, they will head to NYC for two shows: a release day show August 2nd at Mercury Lounge and an August 3rd show at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory. The Brooklyn show will be streamed on Livestream, so if you can't experience The Ettes' fearless and feminine rock fury in-person, be sure to tune in on the web! From NYC, The Ettes head to cities from coast to coast, filling the summer nights with their signature sound that Spin.com has called "equal parts bristling and sexy."

The Ettes' first single "Excuse" will be released exclusively on the iTunes Store on July 12th and the album pre-order begins on iTunes July 18th. "Excuse" has already been making an early impression on radio programmers around the country ahead of the official radio impact date, with both KROQ and specialty radio giving the song early spins. They will headline the KRAB Concert Series at California State University at Bakersfield on August 24th.

The beautiful and defiant new album Wicked Will reunites the band with producer Liam Watson (The Kills, White Stripes), who helmed their debut Shake the Dust. Fronted by the sassy Coco Hames, The Ettes put their fuzzy bass runs, 60s girl group haze, primal drums beats and searing guitars front and center for their most varied album to date. Coco, along with Ettes co-founder Poni Silver and Jem Cohen, have created an album oozing with vulnerability and attitude - all adding to the one-and-only mystique that makes The Ettes one of today's most exciting rock bands.

The Ettes have toured with The Dead Weather, The Black Keys and Kings of Leon and have had their songs featured on TV shows including NCIS Los Angeles, The City, Entourage and Sons of Tucson as well as Drew Barrymore's roller derby flick, Whip It.

On August 2nd, Sympathy For The Record Industry will come out of a four-year retirement to release The Ettes Wicked Will on vinyl. Additionally, there will be three limited edition 7" singles for the album's closing track "The Worst There Is." Each of the three 7" will feature cover art of each band member, with their b-side of choice. Coco's b-side is "Randy Scouse Git," a Monkees cover. Poni chose "Eat The Night," the first song that The Ettes ever wrote and recorded, and Jem's b-side is "Colours" by Donovan.

Praise for THE ETTES:
"Lead singer Coco channels some of the best bouffanted singers of the '60s while adding a sleek punk edge" - NPR
"...a visually stunning group that oozes sensuality." - BUST
" Coco'svoice sounds the way Leslie Gore's might if she'd taken pouting and strutting lessons from Mick Jagger...intimate and explosive." - ELLE
