New York, NY - June 28, 2012 - Today Grammy Award-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari announces a talent search in an exclusive partnership with SoundCloud. Ben-Ari - who fuses classical with jazz, R&B and hip-hop and performed for President Obama Monday -- has made albums with Kanye West, Jay Z, Wyclef Jean, Alicia Keys, Wynton Marsalis, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Patti Labelle, Brandy, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson, John Legend - and now maybe YOU. The winners will be given the opportunity to collaborate with Miri Ben-Ari on a special project, and go from a nobody to a somebody spotlighted SoundCloud!

Contestants will have the option of submitting material in two separate categories: instrumental and instrumental with vocals. Each month, from July to September, Miri Ben-Ari will pick her favorite tracks in each category. She will then share her top picks and spotlight them on her official SoundCloud page (http://soundcloud.com/miribenari).

This coming September, SoundCloud users will then have the opportunity to vote on their favorite spotlighted submissions and decide the winners in each category. Artists are able submit content starting July 1st, 2012. All content submitted must be original.

A Grammy Award-Winning violinist originally from Israel, Miri Ben-Ari has created her own unique sound by a revolutionary fusion of classical style with jazz, R&B and hip hop. This classically trained musician has helped sell millions of records by collaborating with other Grammy award-winning artists such as Kanye West, Jay Z, Wyclef Jean, Alicia Keys, Wynton Marsalis, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Patti Labelle, Brandy, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson and John Legend. Miri Ben-Ari is also the CEO and co-founder of Gedenk ("Remember"), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness among young people about the Jewish Holocaust.
