<b>The Killers’ 2013 <i>Battle Born World Tour</i>,</b> Ronnie began penning ideas, lyrics, and riffs in his hotel room after shows. “I wanted to make something a little bit more toothy,” he grins. “I wanted to cut live punk rock songs, but I wanted to put

 something in there for the ladies as well. This way, there’s a nice pop sensibility, but you can tell that there are men playing, not machines. I wanted to give it some fucking strength!” Ronnie started to regroup with his bandmates for a collaborative approach

 to the new album in early 2014. Soon after that sessions began at The Killers’ <b>

Battle Born Studios </b>in Las Vegas before relocating to Vannucci’s own home studio in Sonoma County, CA.

 That Line</b>” revs up a muscular riff with a surf echo, while track “<b>What The Night Can Do</b>” details a tryst between “two consenting adults” with a soulful swagger.
