</b>and the release of<b> Chris Stein</b>’s photo book “<b>Chris Stein/Negative: Me, Blondie, and the Advent of Punk,” </b>last night marked the star-studded launch of a one-of-a-kind exhibition curated by art dealer and advisor<b> Jeffrey Deitch
</b>at the<b> Hotel Chelsea Storefront Gallery. Blondie</b>’s <b>Debbie Harry and Chris Stein</b> were all on hand to celebrate the exhibit’s opening amongst celebrities and notable friends. Joining them were
<b>Sting, Trudie Styler, Jeffrey Deitch, Chris Botti,</b> <b>Paul Haggis, Cary Fukunaga,
</b><b>Scott Silver, Joel Kinnaman, Chris Benz</b> and many of the exhibit’s photographers including<b> Bob Gruen, Bobby Grossman, Roberta Bayley and David Godlis.</b> Guests sipped on cocktails and mingled in the colorful gallery space observing the incredible
works as the punk-rock, downtown energy buzzed on late into the night. The legendary
<b>Hotel Chelsea</b> has been home to generations of writers, artists, musicians, and bohemians and
<b>Chelsea Hotels</b> is continuing the dedication to its history and support of the arts through this exhibition. The evening was sponsored by

</b>Titled “<b>Chris Stein/Negative: Me, Blondie, and the Advent of Punk,” </b>the book (<b>published by Rizzoli, out September 23<sup>rd</sup></b>) offers a revealing look back at one of the most influential bands of our time and also provides a look at the
larger historical and global context of the music scene that they pioneered. Many well-known shots and never-before-seen photographs of early live performances, private moments on tour and at home, the band’s world travels, and Stein's personal favorites are
showcased, including his friendships and interactions with some of music and art’s most seminal figures including
