close friend through Facebook, </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">which is the most impersonal way to receive this intensely personal news,” Sanchez recalls. “Later that night, I sat down and just started writing a song”—it
became the album’s title track—“from the point of view of her experience. The album’s concept followed from there.”

<i>The Amory Wars</i> saga (much of which is available in comic series form, penned by Sanchez). The story-line behind
<i>‘The Afterman,’</i> follows celebrated cosmonaut/astronomer Sirius Amory, who embarks on a journey where he makes the greatest scientific discovery ever known to mankind. However, the death of his wife upon his return causes him to realize what was truly
important to him just slipped right through his hands, and his only mission now is to make amends.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>COHEED AND CAMBRIA</b> will be hosting an album release party and pop-up art gallery event at
<b>Copro Gallery/Bergamot Station from 8pm – 11pm on October 6 in Santa Monica, CA</b>. The event, presented by
<i>Juxtapose</i>, is free and open to the public. Eighteen original paintings (Acrylic on panel), inspired conceptually from each song from the album by Nathan Spoor, as well as the original cover painting from Heidi Taillefer will be on display. The band
will also perform a stripped down set for attendees. While the band is in NY, fans will also be able to stop by the band’s booth at
