“I was just writing music because that’s what I love to do—that’s how I make sense of the world. And I think in that process I kind of grew up a little bit.”</span></p>

<b>63rd RSC Yellow Ribbon Event</b> held in Los Angeles. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a reintegration program for servicemen and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families. Events are held on a monthly basis to express gratitude to the troops
and facilitate their reintegration process. Powter explains, “<span style="color:black">I have an enormous amount of respect for the men and women in the US military. I absolutely support the troops who put their lives on the line for all of us, day in and
day out. That's why it is my honor to play at the Yellow Ribbon Event.”</span></span></p>
