Recorded in front of an intimate audience at the historic Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles in early May 2015, this special session for Live Show Killer includes fan favorites, surprise covers, and PJ's hand-picked selections from his celebrated solo releases, including many songs from his 2013 album New Orleans which hit #1 on the iTunes R&B Albums Chart, Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and earned PJ a Grammy nomination for his collaboration with Stevie Wonder on "Only One." The 18-track live-in-studio album with accompanying DVD will be available across all DSPs and physical copies will be available on Amazon and at PJ's live shows. Special guests on the album include Tweet and Mali Music.

A love and respect for music's rich history attracted PJ to Henson Studios, where "We Are The World" was famously recorded, and where the likes of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, The Doors, The Ramones, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and Neil Young have created albums. Infused with this inspirational energy, Live Show Killer captures the essence of PJ's mesmerizing and acclaimed live performances and his stellar musicianship. Backed by a full band dubbed 'the Crusade', including a lush string and horn section, PJ performs fan favorites like "Only One," "Heavy," "Work It Out," "Mountains and Molehills," and "Good Days Bad Days" and endearing crowd-pleasers like "Thank You For Being A Friend" (Golden Girls theme song) and "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" (Cheers theme song.)
