(New York, NY - February 5, 2015) - Rock visionary and poet Patti Smith will return to the 25th Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert on March 5th with Her Band and Jesse Smith for a transcendent live performance. If you missed her bringing Carnegie Hall to its knees last year, now is your chance to catch all the action! Also joining the line-up is Grammy-nominated musician Sturgill Simpson, whose album Metamodern Sounds of Country Music remains one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past year.

This special night will also feature esteemed American composer and artistic director Philip Glass (who curated the line-up), Grammy Award-winning psychedelic alt-rock band The Flaming Lips, renowned musician and performance artist Laurie Anderson, celebrated Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal, and internationally acclaimed, double-platinum selling Canadian roots musician Ashley MacIsaac. Chuck Close, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Uma Thurman and Arden Wohl are Honorary Chairpersons for the evening.
