Sometimes serendipity is all that is needed to spark instant musical chemistry. SomeKindaWonderful can certainly attest to that.

Recorded less than three hours after the band fortuitously met in a Cleveland, OH bar, "Reverse" is already receiving early love from KCRW and is available now on iTunes (PRESS HERE<http://smarturl.it/SKWReverse>). Endlessly catchy, "Reverse" feels both modern and classic, nodding to '60s soul and contemporary R&B with the dynamic range of big-room pop-rock and cinematic emotion. Lead singer Jordy Towers unravels a backwards narrative with a cadence that merges rap and soul, providing a novel lyrical framework.

The genre-bending group came together after Towers (vocals/lyrics) became another casualty of the major label system. Frustrated, he decided to do the "reverse" of what most aspiring musicians do - he moved from LA to Cleveland, OH to re-group. It was there that two local musicians, Matt Gibson (guitar) and Ben Schigel (drums) crossed his path. Intending to just grab some beers at a local bar, they found much more than they had anticipated when they came across Towers. If their chance encounter was able to produce "Reverse" immediately after meeting, we can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.

Signed to Downtown Records/White Clover Records, SomeKindaWonderful will release their debut album this summer and will be heading to SXSW in Austin, TX later this month.
