(July 29, 2014 - New York, NY) - This past weekend, Grammy Award winning songstress Estelle appeared on the Steven Universe panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA, in attendance with series creator Rebecca Sugar (who had a hand in creating the artwork for Estelle's new album True Romance out Nov. 4) and the cast. Estelle voices one of the lead characters named Garnet on the popular Cartoon Network show. With thousands of fans and cartoon enthusiasts packing the room, and a 2-hour line for autographs, the Steven Universe panel was one of the most exciting places to be during the annual conference.



Cartoon Network screened a special episode in which Estelle's world-defending character Garnet and fellow superpower gem Amethyst unite forces to create a powerful fusion character named Sugilite, voiced by Nicki Minaj.
