New York, NY - January 24, 2014 - Today, Dan Croll is thrilled to announce the release of his highly-anticipated debut LP entitled Sweet Disarray on April 1st, 2014 via Capitol Records. The twelve-track collection was created with producer Joe Wills in an abandoned primary school gym equipped with an old badminton court and climbing ropes in Liverpool, which perhaps suits the ex-rugby player quite well. Sweet Disarray encompasses the full scope of Dan Croll's illustrious songwriting. His ability to write intricate harmonies paired with instrumental variety, layered with Afro-beats and rhythmic complexities all are apparent throughout the album and highlighted with the song, "Always Like This".  After opening with "From Nowhere," the album goes on with a mix of playful love songs like "Thinkin Aboutchu" to the intimate and emotional ballad "Sweet Disarray," which was written about his grandmother experiencing the onset of Alzheimer's.

At 23-years old Dan has already received accolades for his prolific songwriting abilities and musicianship, and has been named as an "Artist to Watch in 2014" by Vevo, iTunes, CBS Radio/Radio.com and many more. Dan not only graduated from the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts, but was also granted the opportunity to work with the legendary Sir Paul McCartney, and won the National Songwriter of the Year Award from the Musician's Benevolent Fund. Dan's music and tastes have been described as "genre-jumping," and he has drawn comparisons to Paul Simon, Beck, Prince, Passion Pit and Beirut among others, and has been praised by the likes of The Guardian, Q magazine, Under the Radar, Time, Interview, and Nylon.
