TV en Français showcases the full musical prowess of We Are Scientists. The band keeps the energy of the album high, from the guitar-heavy opener, "What You Do Best," to the booming closing chorus of "Take An Arrow." Standout track "Dumb Luck" demonstrates the band's innate ability to write an explosive, visceral guitar riff, while "Don't Blow It" features a buoyant melody coupled with their signature lyrical panache. Murray enthuses, "Working with Chris Coady as producer had a huge effect - he has such a distinct and well-developed sense of what's cool and what sounds good, but he's also emphatic about keeping the rawness of the performances in there."
