"The band's music - centered on guitar, keys and drums - has always been intertwined with strong visuals. They've built giant beastly sculptures and turned venues into moonscapes or dreamscapes." - Bob Boilen, NPR
"a layered, complex collection of rock songs that probably has Chris Martin wishing he came up with them himself." - NylonMag.com

"...a Coldplay/Flaming Lips hybrid...lush, layered, often complex indie that references the last decade's big boys of alternative rock: Coldplay, Radiohead and the Lips, with some nods to U2 at their more experimental." - The Guardian

Los Angeles-based trio, The Moth & the Flame, have released the haunting video for "How We Woke Up" via PasteMagazine.com. PRESS HERE<http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/av/2014/04/video-premiere-the-moth-the-flame---how-we-woke-up.html> to watch! The track is off of their highly-acclaimed 5-song EP entitled &. Originally hailing from Provo, Utah, The Moth & The Flame released &, produced by Joey Waronker (Beck, Atoms For Peace), as they embarked on a European tour alongside Imagine Dragons back in 2013.

The band received a ton of love for their chilling brand of indie-rock from the likes of NPR, BBC 1, NylonMag.com, The Guardian, MTV Buzzworthy, and more - landing them comparisons to Coldplay, Radiohead and The Flaming Lips. They also mesmerized crowds with their unique live show which integrates installation art, transforming venues into lunar visions, starry nights, and floating-lantern dreamscapes.

The Moth & The Flame will be releasing a new record produced by Peter Katis (The National, Jonsi, Frightened Rabbit) this summer. Stay tuned for more!
