The collection will be released by SONY Legacy on Tuesday, April 15th to celebrate the anniversary ofIllmatic, the landmark album that made Nas an icon. Illmatic XX is a compilation of rare remixes, unreleased demos and freestyles. In conjunction with the release, the artist will also appear at the Coachella Festival andTime Is Illmatic – a feature length documentary that examines the album -- will open this year’s Tribeca Film Festival on April 16th.
