New York, NY  - September 12, 2013 - Earlier this year, 23-year old Liverpool singer/songwriter Dan Croll made his US debut with the release of his EP, From Nowhere. Dan quickly won over fans and critics alike, and is excited to announce his headlining US tour starting on October 1st, 2013. The tour will kick off in Chicago, and will make stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Washington DC, in addition to two New York shows for the CMJ Marathon, and two weekends at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Recently, he revealed a new music video for the song, "In/Out," which Pigeons and Planes said is "The perfect song. The track was play listed by BBC Radio 1, who will also have Dan in their studio for a Live Lounge on September 14th.  Dan has also been busy this summer playing a slew of festivals including iTunes Festival, Reading & Leeds Festival, The Great Escape and Latitude.

When Dan was still a student at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), he received accolades for his songwriting and won the national Songwriter of the year award from the Musicians Benevolent Fund, and was also selected to work with LIPA founder, Sir Paul McCartney in 2011. He was introduced to American ears with his songs "Compliment Your Soul," and "From Nowhere," which received heavy support from Los Angeles station, KCRW in addition to being played on a multitude of tastemaker stations including BBC Radio 1, Sirius XM Alt Nation, where it reached #1, and Minneapolis' The Current.

Dan's music and tastes have been described as "genre-jumping," and he has drawn comparisons to Paul Simon, Beck, prince, Passion Pit and Beirut among others. If this is any indication, his upcoming album will be a collection of tracks that blend his love of folk, rock and electronic music and showcase his superb songwriting, which has been praised by the likes of The Guardian, Q magazine, Under the Radar, Time, Interview, and Nylon.
