Maroon 5 to Premiere New Video for "Payphone" on E! News Today, May 9th



Video added at MTV, MTV-HITS, VH1 & FUSE Rotations start next Monday, May 14th





[General PR- Terry Richardson LR.jpg]Maroon 5, the band responsible for breaking US records when they had the highest-ever first week sales for a group, selling 493,000 downloads, will premiere the video for the popular song behind the downloads- "Payphone," tonight on E! News at 7:00 and 11:30 PM, ET/PT. In addition to the debut, Maroon 5's Adam Levine sat down with E! News for an exclusive interview about the making of the video. "Payphone" was directed by Sam Bayer (Smells Like Teen Spirit-Nirvana, American Idiot- Green Day, What Comes Around Goes Around - Justin Timberlake).



"Payphone" featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa is the first single off of the band's highly anticipated fourth studio album, Overexposed, which is set for release on June 26th. Recorded in Los Angeles, CA over the last year, the album is a rich, pop-infused collection that features 12 new tracks. Additional key songs on the album include the irresistible "One More Night" and the rhythmic ballad "Beautiful Goodbye."
