The release of the band's latest track and vinyl edition box set follows last week's revealing of The Afterman: Descension's album artwork and tracklisting.

The second volume in the band's double-album concept, The Afterman: Descension is slated for release on February 5, 2013. Volume one, The Afterman: Ascension, was released on October 9, 2012, and debuted at #5 on the Billboard album charts. About The Afterman:  The first volume from the double-album charts Sirius' sci-fi journey into the stars of the alternate universe known well by Coheed fans as "Heaven's Fence." Upon entering "the Keywork," the blue gaseous energy force that powers these worlds, Amory stumbles upon the Afterlife. In his first confrontation with a soul, "Domino the Destitute" possesses Sirius, who is forced to relive the frenetic events that had occurred in Domino's waking life.
