TO 222 RECORDS

EP Set For Release Later This Year


LOS ANGELES, CA-APRIL 25, 2012-- Adam Levine, Maroon 5 frontman and coach of the hit NBC series The Voice, announced today that Diego Boneta has signed to his newly formed label, 222 Records. Diego, who will be seen starring in the New Line/Warner Bros. film adaptation of the successful Broadway Musical Rock of Ages, is set to release an EP later this year.

Diego Boneta, a native of Mexico, is already known as an accomplished singer, actor and Latin GRAMMY nominated musician. He has quickly garnered attention for his work on the ABC Family hit Pretty Little Liars and the CW's 90210.  Both shows featured his music, spotlighting the hit song "Siempre Tu."  In 2006 he released his debut album Diego Mas via EMI Mexico, which spawned two Top 10 hits in Latin America and Spain, reaching gold status in Mexico and Chile while going platinum in Brazil. Diego was then nominated for "Best New Artist" at the 2006 MTV Awards Latin America. In 2008, he executive produced his second album Indigo, which achieved gold status within a month of its release and landed him a nomination for "Best Solo Artist" at the MTV Awards Latin America.
