Friday, August 5
Bright Eyes, 6:30pm @ Bud Light Stage
Bright Eyes will be lighting up the Bud Light Stage at Lollapalooza this year as part of their whirlwind tour in support of their critically acclaimed 7th album The People’s Key (Saddle Creek) in February. They have spent the past few months traversing North America and crossing the pond to play sold out shows and festivals on what has been a real greatest hits tour for the Omaha troubadours. Having wowed late night audiences on both The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the band have more than lived up to the praise critics have bestowed upon them. NPR called The People's Key "the best record Bright Eyes has ever made. In fact, it's the best record the band's frontman, Conor Oberst, has ever been a part of... The People's Key is a career-defining work of art." Check out their electrifying video for single "Jejune Stars" directed by Lance Acord here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sni54pm08lg and be sure to make your way to the Bud Light Stage to catch their incredible live set.
